THE PTA HELPS TO SUPPORT ON-SITE AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PS 11’s After School Team

To ensure that all students have access to meaningful after school opportunities parents are encouraged to explore The Dodge YMCA Afterschool Program or PS 11's After School Enrichment (ASE) program.  Both options are hosted on-site at PS 11 for ease of transition from the school day. PS 11's ASE programs aim to provide our students with an opportunity to participate in an array of enrichment opportunities in addition to what is already incorporated into our curriculum.  These include but are not limited to athletics, performing arts, visual arts, STEM and much more at a lower cost than comparable programs off-site thanks to the generous funding contributions of our PTA! ASE hosts two sessions: Fall and Winter/Spring each school year. We also established early drop off and extended care programs to help families who need support beyond the usual school day . Lastly, we are very proud to offer each year to students our Saturday Behan Arts Academy! Here enrollees can engage in an attractive array of enrichment classes with amazing instructors and opportunities for lots of fun on saturdays! There is also an impressive Fitness Kickboxing class for adults too!

For the 2025-2026 school year, PS11 will offer two semesters of the After School Enrichment Program.  The Fall 2025 semester will run from 09/04/25 to 01/30/26 and the Winter/Spring 2026 semester will run from 02/02/26 to 06/19/26.  Registration for the Fall semester will begin on 08/04/25 at 8:00pm and end on 09/02/25 at 11:59pm.   The Fall 2025 registration brochure will be released and available on the PS11 website on 06/16/25. The After School Enrichment Program will have a booth during the PS11 Springfest on Saturday, 06/14/25.
