THE PTA HELPS TO SUPPORT ON-SITE AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PS11’s After School Team

To ensure that all students have access to meaningful after school opportunities parents are encouraged to explore PS11's After School Enrichment (ASE) program or The Dodge YMCA Afterschool Program.  Both options are hosted on-site at PS 11 for ease of transition from the school day.

PS11's ASE programs aim to provide our students with an opportunity to participate in an array of enrichment opportunities in addition to what is already incorporated into our curriculum.  These include but are not limited to sports, performing arts, visual arts, STEM and much more at a lower cost than comparable programs off-site! ASE hosts two sessions: Fall and Winter/Spring each school year. We also established Early Drop Off (7am) and Extended Care programs (until 6pm) to help families who need support beyond the usual school day. Lastly, we are very proud to offer our Saturday Behan Arts Academy(BEA)! Here students can engage in an attractive array of enrichment classes with amazing instructors and opportunities for lots of fun on Saturdays!

For the 2026-2027 school year, PS11 will offer two semesters of the After School Enrichment Program.  The Fall 2026 semester will run from 09/10/26 to 01/29/27 and the Winter/Spring 2027 semester will run from 02/01/27 to 06/24/27.  Registration for the Fall 2026 semester will begin on 08/10/26 at 8:00pm and end on 09/08/26 at 8:00pm.  Registration Windows, course catalog and program dates for Saturday Behan Arts Academy and ASE Winter/Spring 2027 semester will be posted later in the school year.
