We will have wonderful children’s book authors and illustrators visiting our school to talk to the students on Tuesday, March 10 for our annual Book Bash, in collaboration with Greenlight Bookstore! You can pre-order copies of the featured books and have the books autographed by the authors. Pre-orders will be delivered to students on the day of the Book Bash. To order books, please fill out the PS11 online order form by following the link below or complete the paper form that will be distributed in your child's red folder.
All book orders must be returned your child’s teacher by Thursday, February 13th.

The annual Scholastic Book Fair is fast approaching and we are looking for parents to help make it another fabulous success! The Book Fair is scheduled for Monday December 9 through to Friday December 13th. We will need volunteers to help manage the book fair during the week and to decorate on Friday, December 6.

The BioBus is an amazing mobile science laboratory designed with children in mind and equipped with a state of the art microscope and staffed by scientists. The BioBus will be parked outside on Washington Avenue in the back of the school and will remain stationary throughout the lab sessions. Kindergarten students will board the BioBus (www.biobus.org) for their 45min time slot, as designated on the schedule.
We are working with NYCOBA NOMA again to learn about our community and spend a day thinking like Architects. Sign up instructions are coming in the red folders or see your class parent!
